Our gallery
Our reference images show the JACK slope mower in various applications: from embankment maintenance along roads and highways to the maintenance of solar park open spaces and steep slope mowing in agriculture. Each project demonstrates the versatility and performance of our remote-controlled mowing technology on areas with up to 100% (45°).
Video gallery
Experience the JACK slope mower in action. Our videos show real customer deployments on extreme steep slopes, embankments, and hard-to-reach terrain. See for yourself how our remote-controlled mowing robot safely and efficiently handles even the most challenging areas.
Practical application examples
Four typical projects that demonstrate how the JACK mower (tracked mower) is used in Austria, Switzerland, and Germany.
Embankment maintenance along traffic routes
Location: Styria, along state and federal roads.
Challenge: Steep slopes up to 70% gradient, narrow verges, ongoing traffic. Manual work with brush cutters is time-consuming and requires several workers.
Result: With the remote-controlled JACK Mulcher, the entire slope is processed from the road. One operator replaces a team of two to three workers, the working time is reduced by up to 60%, and the risk of accidents decreases significantly.
Slope maintenance in viticulture
Location: South Styrian wine country, locations around Gamlitz and Leutschach.
Challenge: Vine rows on slopes with up to 80% gradient, narrow alleys between the rows, soil protection is critical.
Result: The JACK Schlegel with Y-blades maintains vegetation and alley areas without workers having to stand on the slope. Compact design (136 cm width) and chain drive enable safe operation even in wet weather – can be planned year-round instead of being weather-dependent.
Green space maintenance on solar parks
Location: Photovoltaic systems in Burgenland and Lower Austria.
Challenge: Large-scale green maintenance under and between elevated modules, tight row spacing, no stone flying towards the modules allowed.
Result: The JACK Mulcher drives under the module rows, mulch cover and low design (76 cm height) reach areas that a tractor cannot service. An area of 10,000 m² is mowed in about 2.5 hours – instead of half a day manually.
Alpine farming & pasture maintenance
Location: Alpine pastures in the upper and western Styrian highlands.
Challenge: Mowing, eagle fern, and dwarf shrubs on remote alpine pastures with 50–100% slope that need to be regularly pushed back to maintain the grazing areas.
Result: The JACK Schlegel is transported to the alpine pasture by trailer and operated from a safe distance. With a performance of 4,000 m²/h, large alpine areas are also mechanically maintained in one working day – the basis for AMA area funding and the preservation of the cultural landscape.
